2. Will the treatment be painful?

Your comfort and well being are our top priority. By using advanced local anesthetics and delivery methods Dr. Convey can typically render your endodontic treatment painless and uneventful.

As with any minor surgical procedure post operative pain is not uncommon following endodontic treatment. In most instances this is of short duration and can be adequately controlled with over the counter pain medication. On occasions prescription pain medication is required.

3. How much does endodontic treatment cost?

The cost of treatment will vary depending on the type and complexity of treatment required. Our office is happy to provide you with an estimate but only after thorough clinical and radiographic examination can an accurate estimate be provided. Most treatments will fall in the range of $900-$1500.

4. What happens after treatment?

Typically most patients return to their normal daily routine the same day of treatment. In cases where there is severe preoperative pain infection present the return to normalcy can take a little longer.

5. Will I need to return to your office for follow-ups after the procedure is finished?

We recommend returning to our office for follow-up examination of the treated tooth after 1 year. This allows us to asses the healing and in certain instances determine what further treatment is warranted.
